Okay, so it's just about finals time. I'm finishing up papers, my film and of course studying really hard for my ethics test. Anyway, it's a bit early to be doing this, but since my internet at home is miraculously slow, I figured I'd procrastinate editing a little and set up my blog for next semester while I still have fast net access on campus.
So here's my end the deal:
I'm going to be spending next semester in Niamey, Niger. Obviously, I'm crazy excited, but I'm going to miss all of you at school, home, and those who are also traveling or working abroad. So, instead of filling everyone's inboxes with e-mails (not that I don't love getting e-mails from those of you who are sending them to me - but lets face it, I'm so not that proactive when it comes to communication). Anyway, I decided to follow in the footsteps of my Americorps sis and start a blog - this way everyone, even those not linked on facebook or myspace, will be able to check and see what I'm up to whenever they want to.

If you want, check up and leave some comments, or better yet e-mail me! Also, if your going abroad or lead a particularly interesting life, follow suit and start a blog so I can check up on you - in a totally non- sketchy way.
So, bear with my typos and any other problems I may have with this whole blog thing. I'll officially be beginning my Niger adventure on Jan. 25, and I'm sure entering the world of blogging will be a big adventure too. Oh, and whoever can tell me the full quote and movie that my site title comes from will win a big hug next time I see them.

duuuuuude!! i freaking miss you!! Mike and i are taking film 2 together with bowen. lisa tobari is in our productiion group too and this kid dan who's a good friend of nick lombardi's. I got lunch with jason a week-ish ago- he has a full beard now and looks like a mountain man. i ran into him on the street yesterday and he was all excited cause he was "going to watch a screening of man with the movie camera in com and really really likes that movie." i was like, you're ridiculous/adorable and one of my favorite people on earth. I'm supposed to help out with another thesis film he's going to be shooting in late march in vermont or new hampshire or some distant new england place. bowen is alright, but not neeeeearly as cool as keith. i miss his claass like woah. me and mike are gonna go and visit him soon though. strangely enough, me and eli stoneberg have sort of become real friends due to the fact that we're across the street neighbors. In other news, im currently in the process of stalking the production manager for this kevin spacey feature thats filming at MIT in a month. had an interview with the guy and he seems to be pretty positive about letting me intern, but i havent heard from him since then and its been over a week. oh well...hollywood types suck anyways- SPEAKING OF WHICH, i'm going to def do 1st semester next year in LA (as is jason, as I think Mike might be doing as well, but he seemed less set on it). So we MUST take a class together when i return for 2nd semester of GASP our senior year!!! on a side note, if u felt like moving offcampus for a semester im going to need to find a subletter for my place while im in la, so let me know if u or anyone else u know who is equally as chilll, would be interested. hope africa is amaaaaaaaaaazing!! start freaking blogging so i can hear all about your adventures!!!!
